
Engineering Innovations Congress 2020
February 15-16, 2020 | University of the Philippines, Diliman, Quezon City
PSHS - CRC participated in the 8 th Engineering Innovation Congress 2020 hosted by the University of the Philippines Engineering Student Council and Engineers Without Boarders-Diliman. Two (2) entries from the PSHS – CRC were selected as qualifiers out of 10 winning entries among different premier universities and science high school in the country: Daveigh C. Abogado, Shaula D. Andiano, and Bryah Arabella M. Anos, with project entitled “Building Monitoring System for Electrical Wiring and Water Pipes and Danielle R. Ajoc, Jason Gil P. Villanueva, and Danika Mae S. Soberano with project title “PATAK: Proactive Technology on the Amelioration of Kalikasan”. The project “PATAK: Proactive Technology on the Amelioration of Kalikasan” initially received the “Best Exhibit Award” which showed how novel, feasible, and useful was the project based on the United National Sustainable Development Goal. During the awarding ceremony, the Pisay CRC STEM Innovators emerged as the Overall Champion of the Engineering Innovation Congress 2020 Exposition beating other entries and projects from premier universities of the country like University of the East and also other PSHS campuses.
